Great Day

It’s a great day here in Mackay , good day to go for a walk along the beach.
I am going to Ipswich on Sunday for a couple of weeks, on the Tilt train, should be fun.
I have not been doing much sewing this past month (lazy) have started on a new quilt with a lot of appliqué I have done a lot of prep work so I can take hand appliqué away with me. Some photo’s of what I have finished so far.

The quilt I made for Amanda has been delivered she loves it. Her favourite colour (pink). I got a lovely surprise on Thursday (AU) time a parcel arrived with the fabric that I won in a giveaway by Quilting is Blissful in the parcel was also other goodies

Busy Month

Hi all
It has been a busy month for me lots of sewing
A small surgery (stopped me from sewing for a couple of days) going to the movies and lots of shopping. I bought some new fabric for my appliqué stash
I finished a lap quilt I made for my daughter Amanda also bought some new cat fabric to make a lap quilt for my daughter Lulu (will take photo tomorrow)
Cleaning house in between what a month

Had a great day at doll club on Wednesday we spent most of our time watching a Beryl Taylor DVD called Layer on layer Making fabric from paper, all are very excited about it and all want to try it.

Lyndel’s Birthday
I am home from my trip to Adelaide it was a surprise trip for my daughter’s birthday.
A great time was had by all.
We made a visit to Khris from ( sew Prim Khris) what a great person she is.

Puss in Pink

Gorgeous little cat is for my daughter for her birthday my friend Ruth Moore made her for me I am having another one made for myself. She is going to try and make her like my Miss Molly.
