Life Gets Busy at Times

Queens Park Gardens Toowoomba

Life Got Busy Recently

Life has been very busy for me lately...I have been down to Brisbane to visit my daughter Amanda and go to a CRAFT retreat with a bunch wonderful ladies.

While at retreat we went to Toowoomba to visit fabric shops and have lunch with another of the CRAFT ladies. We stopped off at the Queens Park botanical gardens to see all the flowers they had carefully grown for their Carnival of Flowers.

The food at retreat was very good, we never went hungry.

We had lots of fun getting to know each other, we did some sewing done...

The next day was very busy, we went to The Queensland Art Museum to see the Mummy's on display from the British Art Museum.
We could not resist going to Southbank and visiting Max Brenner for Morning Tea...

I did not eat all of this (much)

That night we came back to Southbank to the Queensland Performing Arts to see "Jersey Boys"...
It was the best show I have ever seen, it was fantastic.

I spent one night with my sister and Brother in law and this is Mitch their inqusitive Fur Baby...

After a very busy time away I came home for a much needed rest, I could have slept for 3 weeks.
one of our usual things to do is go to the beach and walk the dogs, I need to do extra walks to make up for all that retreat food.

Here are some of the thing I have made once getting back into sewing after my time away...
