Finished my cat quilt at last.
I called it Mollycats.

Hi great day here in Mackay a little warm but still a great day. I have been busy quilting and doing stitchery
My cat quilt is finished at last; I will upload as soon as I take a photo. Here is a photo of one of my doll clubs Christmas breakup.

all fabric is white cotton curtain backing.

New Dragon

Finished my Dragon at last his name is Griff.

Poor Miss Molly cannot get out of bed today
She had her yearly injection yesterday and
Must be sore.

Finished the Bag and Table runner that I have been working on for a few weeks .
I still have to finish my cat quilt and Dragon by Christmas.

Wow did I have a great time last weekend on a Genesis fabric colouring workshop
The weather was against us rain and a little wind but we still managed to have a great workshop I hope to do more next year as there is still a lot to learn.

Hi all
I have not worked my blog for a while small health problems all sorted out now. Have almost finished my cat quilt the top is finished only the quilting to do now
I had a wonderful holiday in Ipswich and Brisbane I went down and back on the Tilt train what a great experience I just love train travel so much but it is great to be back home in Mackay best place in au to live great weather up here.
My sister Barbara made some cross stitch cats for me love them both also here is a photo of a sampler quilt my friend Pat made great job Pat.

Finished at last

I have finished my first Quilt at last I loved every ninute i spent making it.I have not had time to hang it but will do so in the easter break

the quilt is 60 inch sq.

I have already started on another lap quilt at home and will make a single

at Janome after easter I then start on a queen size for my bed.

I am hooked .

Last Blocks

I have just finished the last 2 blocks for the lap quilt or wall hanging . I might make mine a wall hanging as it is my first quilt.we did the drunkards path and dutchmans puzzle.

Next week we start to put it all together

My 4th lesson at Janome

Had a busy day at Janome on Monday loved every minute of it.We have a great teacher.

We learnt how to do the Dresden Plate and the 54-40 or fight.

Well lesson 3 at Janome went well ,we had to do the log cabin and laced star for for homework
